The ATP, the Grand Slam Board, the ITF and the WTA (as members of the Joint Certification Programme) require a high standard of professionalism from all officials certified as National, Green, White, Bronze, Silver and Gold under the Programme and all other officials working at ATP, Grand Slam, ITF and WTA tennis tournaments and competitions. The purpose of the ITF Gender Eligibility Policy is to establish the conditions enabling transgender and non-binary players and players with sex variations to participate in ITF Competitions, in a safe and supportive environment that is free from harassment and abuse, and in line with the ITF’s objectives to oppose any form of abuse, harassment, discrimination, or violence against any person, regardless of race, colour, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, language, religion or belief, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status, while also seeking to maintain fair and meaningful competition conditions for all players participating in ITF Competitions.
